Armstrong Concrete Inc. offers you
Cement Content
- 4500 psi: This mix contains a high content of cement (the ingredient in concrete which bonds the sand and aggregate together).
- 4000 psi: This mix contains less cement than the 4500 psi mix, increasing the concentration of the stones in exposed aggregate concrete.
Reinforcement
- Steel rebar: Steel rebar is placed in the concrete to help keep different sections of a slab from separating or shifting from one another. It also minimizes the probability that a hairline cracking develops into a structural crack in future years. Unlike wire mesh which fails prematurely, rebar will last the life of the concrete.
Curing
- Curing compound: For full strength of new concrete, spraying a curing compound onto the surface of the slab is critical. This application seals in the correct amount of moisture and allows proper curing of the concrete. With this seal, no dampening of the slab is necessary.
